Altran, global leader in Engineering and R&D services (ER&D), has been awarded “Preferred Supplier” by the Bosch Group, in the material field of “development services”. With this award, Altran enters the top 10 of an exclusive group of approximatively 3.800 suppliers today. Bosch wants to work closely on tools for all business areas (development of infotainment, navigation, car-to-car communication systems, security systems, and electronics) with its Preferred Suppliers.
Altran started collaborating with Bosch in 2007 with a global agreement, and rapidly became one of Bosch’s largest global suppliers of engineering services by providing outsourced development services. Thanks to this partnership:
® Altran and Bosch have been able to strengthen their cooperation in Germany but also in all the other European countries, such as France and Belgium, as well as in Asia (China).
® In 2015, Altran dedicated over 130 engineers to Bosch.
® Altran supports Bosch in different areas including the development and the test of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), human machine interfaces (HMI) and engine control units (ECU).
® In the future, Altran considers reinforcing the cooperation in Europe and in Asia and expanding the partnership with Bosch in further countries, including in the USA which represents a significant market in terms of business opportunities for the two groups.
